Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the grated Cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, and mayonnaise. Mix well until everything is fully combined and creamy.
250 g Cheddar,
125 g cream cheese,
60 g mayonnaise
Add the diced pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to the bowl. Stir well until everything is evenly distributed.
2 tbsp pimentos,
1/2 tsp garlic powder,
1/2 tsp onion powder,
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper,
salt,
pepper
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld together.
Serve chilled as a dip, spread, or sandwich filling.
Notes
To make the creamiest pimento cheese, we recommend grating the cheese by hand instead of using pre-shredded cheese.
We also recommend using high-quality mayonnaise, such as Duke's or Hellmann's, for the best flavour.
